Lynne Cox
Relationship Counselor

Lynne shares her gifts and talents with lots of enthusiasm as she encourages everyone to recognize and claim their inner self worth. She affirms that as we appreciate ourselves and focus on our positive qualities, we become inspired to open to our unlimited potential.

This Shining Light CD is the fulfillment of a dream for Lynne. She brings joy to the hearts of babies, children, and adults through her poetic journeys.

Lynne's professional career has spanned over twenty years. She counsels clients regarding their personal issues, couple relationship challenges, and guides them to enhance their parenting skills. She began her career working with Port Coquitlam Family Studies (a non-profit organization) for thirteen years. She has put into practice the Adlerian Psychology she was learning. Lynne then branched into a variety of other avenues and extended her approach with her clients. She shares an understanding of the powerful influence, beliefs and feelings have on each person's behavior, and their life experiences.

Lynne’s clients have had this to say about her personal service:
“My life has changed for the better”
“In all honesty, those were the most valuable and worthy sessions ever! Where we met the greatest satisfaction was in seeing the positive results that emerged from within our family.”
As a relationship counselor, Lynne assists clients to see new ways of approaching life situations that face us all. As clients recognize and understand the reasons why issues surface again and again they experience personal empowerment. Using simple yet effective approaches, the cycle ends. Clients see that they can have what they want in their relationships, and in their life.

Parents can assist their children by balancing encouragement, structure, choice and consequence to improve their parent child relationship. This encourages children to take responsibility for their actions with a sense of willingness rather than with anger or resistance.

Lynne receives referrals from Clients, Doctors, Health Professionals, School Counselors, and several Family Education and Support Centers for:

♥ Self-esteem, anger, and communication challenges
